The pair, who reportedly met on the sets of comedy film 'Wanderlust' have announced that they have separated. Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been separated since late last year, according to a joint statement released by them recently. The couple, who wed in 2015 at Bel Air mansion said that they intended to keep their decision private, but "given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly."
Aniston, 49, and Theroux, 46 were one of the most loved Hollywood couples and the news saddens many, us included. "This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship," the statement read. The couple added, "Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else's fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another." This was Aniston's second marriage. She was married to fellow actor Brad Pitt for five years, but they divorced in 2005.
