As reported earlier, though Shah Rukh Khan is only making a cameo appearance in Salman Khan starrer 'Tubelight', it will be after a long time that the two will be seen together in a film. The last they were seen on screen together was when Salman made a special appearance in a song for Shah Rukh starrer 'Om Shanti Om'.
While Salman and Shah Rukh's friendship dates back to the time the two had only started making a career in acting, SRK's friendship with 'Tubelight' director Kabir Khan is from the days they studied in a filmmaking school.
Reveals the director, "I have known him since college. He had given me his notes to study. I cleared my masters in filmmaking with his notes. We were in the same school." Kabir further adds, "He was senior to me by two years. Gauri [Khan; SRK's wife] and I were dancing partners in a production called Westside Stories."
A Kabir Khan directorial starring Salman and brother Sohail Khan, and a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh, only makes us more impatient for the film to release.
