The Bollywood film industry is slowly evolving. From making rom-coms to films with heroes dancing around trees, now filmmakers are more concerned with making strong content-driven films. This year saw a list of revenge dramas in Bollywood. 'Maatr', where Raveena Tandon avenged the rape and murder of her daughter, Sridevi’s 'Mom' based on similar lines, and Sanjay Dutt’s 'Bhoomi' were all revenge dramas.

Now, while most actresses have no problems playing such roles, actress Kajol says that she's averse to them. The actress will be seen playing a mother in her next, and said, “It’s a nice, funny, humorous take on a mother. That’s all I can say for now.” She added, “As a mother, I can’t see films with violence and crimes against kids. I won’t be able to pull off something like that because it shocks me and I don’t want it to happen to anyone. I’m not comfortable with such roles.” Stay tuned for more updates.
