Karan Johar speaks up about the casting of 'Dhadak'

Our Instagram is full of 'Dhadak' poster pictures, is yours too? Just yesterday Karan Johar announced the launch of Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter. The much-awaited announcement came from the prolific director himself and three movie posters have already been launched!
In regards to the casting of the movie, Karan said, “We believe very strongly in promoting new talent. A host of first-time film-makers, technicians and actors have begun their journey in the entertainment industry from the corridors of our company. I am exhilarated and proud to present two sparkling new energies, and new acting talents- Janhvi and Ishaan- that will begin their cinema story with us."
A source revealed, “While it is an adaptation of 'Sairat', the film is not an exact copy as the makers are just taking the strengths from the original and weaving some new bits. The film will go on the floors next month in Rajasthan. Janhvi and Ishaan have been prepping for the same for over six months.”
