Will we be seeing Ranbir Kapoor in a thriller next?

Director Raja Krishna Menon has a lot going on right now however, that isn't to say that he's not ready for his next venture. The director has already set his sight on Ranbir Kapoor for his next film which is said to be a thriller drama. A source revealed that Raja's next movie is in the scripting stage and the actor-director duo is yet to meet and take the discussion forward.
The filmmaker said, "Ranbir is a fantastic actor. I would love to work with him. He makes some interesting choices. I haven’t offered him the film yet. He’s busy with 'Brahmastra' right now. We had planned to meet, not for a film or anything, but just to catch up and know each other. We don’t know each other at all. We just wanted to meet and discuss what space he would like to be in. But right now, if you ask me, there’s nothing which has been discussed with him."
On the work front as of now, Ranbir is currently working in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' and will be starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt. The movie is slated to release on the 15th of August, 2019.
