Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor to make their first live appearance on a public platform

The Kapoor family is probably the largest family to have actors in the Bollywood film industry. Sisters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan have both significantly contributed to the Hindi cinema. But in a career that spans over so many years, the siblings have only ever appeared together on-screen for one commercial. While no script could get them to come together on the big screen, now it looks like the duo is all set to make their first live appearance on a public platform next month. Karisma and Kareena will share the stage at a women's conclave where they will headline a chat, in Mumbai on March 10.

A source revealed, "Both of them, in their independent ways, have changed the way women are perceived in cinema. So it would only be fitting to have them share their views about Bollywood and women's role in it as part of Women's Day celebration." The source further added, "Karisma will talk about being the first girl from Kapoor family to enter the world of films. She will also broach difficult topics like the casting couch and how she battled the patriarchal mindset of B-Town then. Kareena, on the other hand, will talk about balancing her professional and personal life, and how actresses are changing the rules in Bollywood." Stay tuned for more updates.
