Katrina Kaif: I would love to play Anarkali

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has quite a few films coming up with the Khans, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan to be precise. Katrina has always been known to take up roles which she finds are strong. When asked about her dream role the actress revealed that although she hasn't been a Bollywood buff growing up, there is one role in particular that interests her. She also added that she loves watching classic Hindi films.
“I love watching old Hindi films. Some of my most favourite ones are old classics,” she said. When asked with so many classics being remade today, does she see herself in one, the actress revealed, “Maybe a 'Mughal-E-Azam'. I would love to be part of the film, if it’s made again.” The actress further added that the tragic love story still has recall value, “It’s beautiful and ethereal. The whole world amazes me. So, I would love to play Anarkali. But then again, there’s a side of me who would rethink about remaking a classic which is as loved as 'Mughal-E-Azam'.” Stay tuned for more updates.
