Katrina Kaif replaces Sara Ali Khan in Abhishek Kapoor's next?

Recently there were reports that Abhishek Kapoor was all set to launch Sara Ali Khan in his next film opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. However, if recent developments are to be believed that is not the case anymore.

There have been reports that Katrina Kaif has been signed for Abhishek Kapoor's next directorial. If this does happen, this will be the second time that Abhishek and Katrina will collaborate after 'Fitoor'.

In fact, Abhishek had first offered 'Fitoor' to Sushant Singh Rajput, who had then turned down the offer as he was keen to do Shekhar Kapoor’s 'Paani,' which didn't materialise. While this led to a cold war between the two, things have since patched up.

Talking about the same, a source close to the development revealed, "It’s third-time lucky for the Katrina, Sushant pair. Kat was going to be cast opposite Sushant in 'Fitoor' and then in Karan Johar’s 'Drive'. These movies never happened, but they’re finally together."
