Katrina Kaif to play herself in Aanand L Rai’s next starring Shah Rukh Khan?

Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai are to collaborate for the first time on a film which also stars Katrina Kaif. The untitled film has an unusual storyline and will see Shah Rukh play a dwarf. However, reports suggest that Katrina will be seen playing herself for the first time in a film.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Katrina will play herself in the film. A source close to the development revealed to the leading daily, "The film is primarily about the journey of SRK from Meerut to the United States of America, and Katrina comes in as herself, at a very crucial time in the film."

Film's writer, Himanshu Sharma, however, had a totally different opinion on the news. He said, "Not really. It’s way more complicated. You all have to wait for a while to know more about it. I’m not in a position to give out any details at this point of time."

This will be the second film that Katrina and Shah Rukh will be sharing screen space in. However, the film is yet to go on floor as Katrina is busy shooting for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' alongside Salman Khan. And Shah Rukh too is busy with Imtiaz Ali's next alongside Anushka Sharma.
