Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao starrer, 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', is all set to release next year. The film is helmed by the 'Nil Battey Sannata' fame director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and will have a July release. Shot in the hinterlands of Uttar Pradesh, 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' will see Ayushmann play the role of a printing press owner, Rajkummar in the role of an author, and Kriti straight-forward liberated woman.
Rooted in the subculture of Bareilly, the film is a quirky romantic comedy. Spilling some beans on the film, Kriti in a recent media interaction, revealed, "'Bareilly Ki Barfi’ has been my fastest film which I have shot in one schedule and that’s also a very special and a different film. It’s quirky, cute and light."
She was in all praises of the writer and director of the film. Talking about the same, she said, "The film is very well written by Nitesh Tiwari and very well directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari." Well, Kriti looks rather confident and excited about the film. With the title of the film a favourite amongst the masses, the film is definitely a look forward to!
