Madhu Chopra: Priyanka has a fabulous role in ‘Baywatch’

Priyanka Chopra is all set for the release of her Hollywood megaproject ‘Baywatch’ alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. In the film, Priyanka will be seen playing the main antagonist Veronica Leeds and her fans can’t wait to see her sizzle on screen. The trailer of the film was released not so long ago, and we couldn’t help but notice that PeeCee only had a one-shot appearance in it.

Talking to the IANS about her daughter’s blink-and-miss appearance in the trailer, Madhu Chopra said, “That is their strategy. They don't want to give out the best part of the film, and Priyanka is the best part of the film. It's a publicity plan that they had for the trailer. Priyanka is the main antagonist and she has a fabulous role in it."

Being a part of the industry one can’t escape the many things that are written about them in the papers. Talking about that aspect, Priyanka’s mom added, “There was a time when negative news used to bother me, but now it doesn't because I know my daughter better than anyone else. If somebody writes negative, I know it cannot be true because she is very genuine, very honest and very true to herself. I am not saying she can't do anything wrong, but she can't do anything bad. I can guarantee that."

‘Baywatch’ is all set to hit the theatres on 26th May 2017.
