The Duchess of Sussex is pregnant, says Kensington Palace. This news comes five months after Prince Harry and Meghan's lavish ceremony at St George's Chapel. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting a child in the spring of 2019 and Royal-watchers can't keep calm!
Kensington Palace said in a statement, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” the statement further read.
This news came just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Sydney for their first major international tour. Apparently, Meghan told The Queen and the rest of the Royal Family the happy news at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday. Doria Ragland, the mother of the Duchess, is “very happy about this lovely news” and "looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild." Royal sources claim that Doria will move to London to help Meghan out with the baby. The wonderful news comes as Meghan once described being a mother on her “bucket list” and Prince Harry has previously said he would love to have children.
