Omung Kumar’s directorial debut ‘Mary Kom’, starring global sensation Priyanka Chopra, was a huge success. He then went on to work with another big name in the industry, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘Sarbjit’. Now his upcoming outing ‘Bhoomi’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of 2017, as it marks the on-screen comeback of Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt.

He recently shared his experience while working with Sanjay and said, “I didn’t know Sanjay at all before we started working in Bhoomi. He became my friend during the filming. I had to break my conception of him as a star.” He further said, “When you work with stars, you have to work around them. But Sanjay doesn’t come with any baggage. Sanjay is very spontaneous, he doesn’t like to rehearse.”

Also starring Aditi Rao Hydari, ‘Bhoomi’ will hit the theatres on 22nd September.
