‘Pari’ starring Anushka Sharma to be remade in Tamil

Actress Anushka Sharma was seen in a thriller film ‘Pari’, she had gained a lot of appreciation for her performance in the film. It was her third project as a producer after ‘NH10’ and ‘Phillauri’. While the first film was a road thriller and the latter a supernatural drama, ‘Pari’ was an out-and-out horror film where the actress doesn’t shy away from experimenting as a producer or a performer, played a woman possessed by an evil spirit.
Anushka had no qualms about sporting a battered, bruised look with blood strewn all over her for the major portion of the film. Now, there was news that ‘Pari’ will be remade in Tamil. A source close to the development said, “Quality horror stories work in this market and the producers have loved Pari. The offer on the table is a big one and only adds to the revenue of ‘Pari’. An announcement is expected to happen as soon as the deal is locked.”
