Since the trailer of Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha' was released, it has been creating waves for all the right reasons! Within a day of its release, the trailer managed to garner nine million views.

A love story with a twist, 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha' aims at creating awareness about the risks of defecating in open and the need to build a toilet at home. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, the trailer was recently lauded by Modi as ‘good effort.’

This Akshay Kumar-starrer, 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha' is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and highlights the importance of sanitation in India. While the film was earlier to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', the film will now have a solo release on August 11.
