Remo D'Souza defends his decision to cast Salman Khan in his next dance film
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Remo D'Souza's next project with Salman Khan. While this is the first time that Remo will be directing Salman, Remo has earlier choreographed Salman for films like 'Jai Ho', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Tubelight' to name a few.

Talking about the film at a recent press conference Remo reiterated that project is not 'ABCD 3'. Remo said, "I would like to confirm for once and for all that my film with Salman Khan is not ABCD 3. Yes, it is a dance film but the subject is very different."

However, the director also revealed that while names like Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani have been doing rounds, the leading lady is far from being finalised. "A lot of names are circulating around but we have not zeroed down on anyone so far. Whatever I am hearing is from the media only," added Remo.

Since the project was announced there has been an ongoing decision on the social media about Salman's dancing abilities. However, shutting the haters and detractors, Remo defended the decision of casting Salman saying, "it is a myth and misconception about Salman Khan that he does not dance. Yes, the moves of his characters become very popular. He did the belt movement in Dabangg because that was his role of a Dabangg cop. Salman bhai has some steps that have become very popular and because he does them on TV/shows, it looks he does not know how to dance."

Remo concluded saying, "He has danced really well. He has danced fabulously in the Radio song in 'Tubelight' as well as Selfie Le Le Re from 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. It is because of his characters that the dance gets overshadowed. I hope my dance film will change that notion for once and for all. He will dance a lot in it."
