Priyanka Chopra delays Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gustakhiyan'?

Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra, who has created waves in the west is expected to announce her upcoming Bollywood project sometime this week. While the rumours are rife that PeeCee is all set to play the part of poet Amrita Pritam in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gustakhiyan' opposite Irrfan Khan, who will be seen playing the poet and lyricist, Sahir Ludhianvi.

While all the details regarding the project have been finalised, reports suggest that there is some time before the film goes on the floor.

A source close to the development revealed, "Priyanka has already signed two Hollywood films and has the third season of Quantico as well. So, the dates she initially gave to Bhansali will now be taken up by her Hollywood commitments. Her team is currently figuring out new dates for 'Gustakhiyan'.”

This shuffle in dates has caused a problem for Irrfan too, who is now free for the time-being. The source added, “When Priyanka gave her dates, Irrfan also adjusted his dates accordingly. Since the schedule has now changed, Irrfan’s date diary has gone haywire, too. Once Priyanka gives her dates, Irrfan too plans to accommodate the same in his schedule."

Apparently, PeeCee has loved the part and is trying to fit in the dates in her schedule. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to believes that PeeCee and Irrfan will be the perfect casting for the part and hence is willing before taking the films to the floor. Reports also hint that PeeCee plans to co-produce the venture and 'Gustakhiyan' might mark her first Bollywood production!
