Ranbir Kapoor: Sometimes, you dearly love someone but you can't possess that person

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has always maintained a cordial relationship with all his exes. It was while the shooting of their upcoming film, 'Jagga Jasoos' that Ranbir and Katrina parted ways. In fact, there were reports that it was due to their break up that the film's release got delayed. And while there has been a lot of speculation about Ranbir and Katrina's current equation, both the actors has always had good things to say about each other.
In the past as well, Ranbir has worked with his ex Deepika Padukone on screen post their break up. However, unlike his equation with Katrina, Ranbir and Deepika claim that in spite of ending their relationship they are still friends.
In a recent interview with a leading entertainment magazine, Ranbir was asked whether there is a thin line between friendship and love. Ranbir chose to answer the question in reference to his character Ayan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and said, “Sometimes, you dearly love someone but you can't possess that person. But does that stop you from loving that person? And if that person is not reciprocating that love but wants friendship instead, then can one find peace with just friendship?"
