Ranbir Kapoor to host ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’?!

For more than 15 years, Amitabh Bachchan had the Indian audience glued to their television screens every time his show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ aired. The viewers would watch the show with bated breath as each contestant made his or her way steadily towards the coveted prize money. While the show’s initial prize money was one crore, it gradually increased through the many seasons of the show and eventually reached seven crores.

Well, now the good news is that the show is all set to make a comeback, but this time with a new host. In the past, the only time the show has seen a different host was in 2007 when Shah Rukh Khan stepped into Big B’s shoes. However, this time it will be none other than Ranbir Kapoor welcoming the contestants to the hot seat. This would be a different experience for the actor for although he has hosted many awards shows earlier, it will be the first time he would be hosting a television game show.
