Rhea Kapoor: Critics did not take me seriously

Sonam Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor recently launched their fashion high street fashion label, Rheson, and the clothing line is already catching up pace with the youngsters. While Sonam chose to make a career in acting, Rhea too was expected to walk on the same lines of father Anil Kapoor and sister Sonam.

However, Rhea chose to be different and instead is a film producer and fashion stylist. Talking about the same, Rhea said, "Well, I think since I am the daughter of Anil Kapoor, in the beginning, people expected me to be an actor like Sonam, but I didn't as that was never my dream. Since my choices were unpredictable for critics, they did not take me seriously. In fact, I believe, when you start young, people assume that you are undeserving." Further adding that she remains "unaffected by such things."

The 'Aisha' and 'Khoobsurat' producer thinks that she is "too chilled out to be an actor." Rhea continued, "I cannot sit holding a crossed legged poster; I am a clumsy person and a control freak. I would be a disaster as an actor! In fact, my personality also reflects on my collection."

Talking about the clothing collection of Rheson, Rhea said, "I'm the first consumer for my product, so I have to create things with conviction. You know I love wearing a sari, but I cannot sit on the floor, with my folded legs, especially when sitting for puja or in Diwali, along with elders. It's so uncomfortable. So I made that palazzo sari, graceful but as comfy as one can wear like a track pant."
