Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Kaalakaandi’ to release on THIS date

As reported earlier, Saif Ali Khan has a busy year ahead with four releases up his sleeves. There is Nikkhil Advani's 'Baazaar', there is 'Chef' which is slated to release in June. 'Kalakaandi'is up for release in September and Saif starrer 'Rangoon' already hit theatres on 24th February this year.
However, there were reports that the film was stuck with the distributors as the makers were unable to decide a suitable release date for the film. While the makers wanted to make most of the profit by releasing the film on an ideal day, all the dates looked blocked.
Now, the makers have finally decided to release the film on September 8. Talking about 'Kalakaandi', Saif had earlier revealed, "'Kaalakaandi' is a film I'm happy to be a part of. It's a cross-section of Mumbai with underworld goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers mixed together in a karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night."
