Salman Khan to soon venture into digital medium

It looks like Salman, who is known for his commercial blockbusters, is looking to now expand into digital space. According to sources, Salman had a marathon meeting with the bosses of a major global digital OTT platform on Friday and during the course of the same a “mind-boggling deal” was discussed.

Talking about the same, a source close to the development revealed, "The meeting started at around 3 pm and went on for a couple of hours. It ended on a high note with Salman not only tweeting about it but also sharing a selfie with the top guys."

When asked what the meeting was about, the source said, "The talks are still at a preliminary stage but Salman is definitely warming up to the digital platform." Did the deal include all of Salman's body of work or the meeting was about a new show? The source maintained, "It’s early days yet, could be a combination of the two."

There have been rumours of Salman wanting to venture into digital space for quite some time now. However, considering that Salman's good friend, Shah Rukh Khan too has cut a lucrative deal with a rival digital platform, it could have been Shah Rukh's move that inspired the Salman to do the same.
