An insider on the sets denied the reports of an accident on the sets of Aanand L Rai's next starring Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan, who is playing the role of a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s next, escaped unhurt on the sets as a large portion of a ceiling collapsed, hurting two crew members. The members, who came under the rubble were then rushed to a hospital in Andheri.

While the shooting for the film was to take place in Meerut and Lucknow, Aanand L Rai constructed the same in Film City for SRK. In fact, Aanand L Rai was present on the sets when the incident happened.

Talking about the same, a source said, “A prop ladder fell on the makeshift ceiling. The injured crew members were discharged immediately since the injuries were minor. Everybody heaved a sigh of relief that SRK was seated on another side of the set and was unharmed. Shooting was stalled for two days and will resume later this week.”

Talking about the delay, the film’s spokesperson informed that extremely cloudy weather, which was unsuitable for the scenes’ requirement, was one of the key reasons for the shoot being stalled.

However, an insider source on the set denied the the news and said that nothing like this happened on the sets of the film and all the stories floating around are rumours.

Titled ‘Katrina Meri Jaan’, Aanand and SRK are teaming up for the first time. While SRK is currently shooting in Mumbai, his leading ladies, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma are expected to join in at a later stage.
