Shahid Kapoor shares his experience about working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Actor Shahid Kapoor has some seriously impressive acting skills which is why it was no surprise when we heard that he was cast in the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film 'Padmavati'. On Tuesday morning Shahid treated his fans to a question and answer session on Twitter, where one user asked his experience working with Bhansali. Talking about working with Sanjay, the actor stated, "Been a pleasure and a privilege."

Shahid will be seen portraying the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, husband of actress Deepika Padukone's character in the movie. When another fan asked what he liked about his character, Shahid replied, "Courageous fearless. Respectful to women."

'Padmavati' also stars Ranveer Singh who will be seen playing the role of Alauddin Khilji who was a powerful ruler of the Khilji dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate. 'Padmavati' portrays the story of Alauddin Khilji, the medieval-era Delhi ruler who fell in love with Rajput queen Padmavati. The film is produced by Bhansali Pictures and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. It is slated to release on December 1, 2017.

Another user asked if Shahid will be starring in a light hearted film anytime soon. The actor replied, "Yes, post 'Padmavati'."
