Arjun Kapoor's 'Half Girlfriend' Shraddha Kapoor avoids a Box Office clash
Only recently, Shah Rukh Khan and the makers of Imtiaz Ali's next 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' preponed the release of the film to avert a clash with Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. Calling it a wise decision, Shah Rukh said, "It's always nice if two films get their own breathing space."

Taking a cue from Shah Rukh, now the makers of Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai' have postponed the release of the film. The film was first supposed to hit theatres on July 28 along with Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer 'Mubarakan'. However, averting the clash, 'Haseena..' had now been pushed and the makers plan to announce the release date of the film soon.

A source close to a leading tabloid revealed, "Director Apoorva Lakhia and producer Nahid Khan called for a meeting on Sunday night to discuss the promotional strategy of the film. Earlier, it was supposed to clash with Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos', and Saif Ali Khan's 'Chef' on July 14."

The source further added, "'Jagga Jasoos' then moved to a solo release window of July 28, while 'Chef' was postponed to October. However, 'Mubarakan' will now hit screens on July 14. These days, it's difficult to find a weekend with no other film scheduled for release, but the producers [of 'Haseena...'] have decided to postpone their project."

Also, it seems highly unlikely that the makers of 'Haseena' will release the film in July as Suneel Darshan's 'Ek Haseena Thi, Ek Deewana Tha' releases in the same month, and the makers don't want to create confusion with the title of the films. "Similar titles could be misleading for the audience and dangerous for the film," adds the source.
