Shraddha or Sonakshi: Who will be sharing screen space with Shahid Kapoor in next film?

Shahid Kapoor who is rumoured to be rather upset about 'Padmavati' promotions is all set for yet another project. However, there are major speculations regarding his leading actress in the new film. The actor has been signed up by 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' director, Shree Narayan for his next film 'Batti Gul Aur Meter Chalu'. And we now hear that both, Shraddha Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha are major contenders for lead actress in the film.
A source revealed, “The makers are keen to cast an actress who can get the dialect of the area right. The film will be shot in Uttrakhand and the makers want an actress who can do justice to the character.” Shree Narayan wanted to work with Sonakshi in 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' too, however, that didn't work out and he is hoping to try his luck this time. As for Shraddha, he is concerned whether her and Shahid's chemistry was appreciated in 'Haider'. It seems like a tough decision and we can't wait to know who it will be! Any guesses?
