Sharmila Tagore on Soha and Kunal's baby: We are happy; it's lovely to have the little one

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu have been blessed with a baby girl. Naturally, the new parents were ecstatic about it and Kunal took to Twitter to share his joy with the world.
A leading entertainment media portal got in touch with Soha's mom, actress Sharmila Tagore who stated, "We are happy. Soha is well and Kunal is well. It's lovely to have the little one. It's a very special moment. Kunal is super excited as it's his first baby. Thank god everything went well."
Earlier, when Kunal was asked about Soha's pregnancy, the actor had stated, "I am very excited and happy. A lot of people said that you will be nervous and will get sleepless nights, but I haven't felt it. I can't wait to be a father now." When asked if he planned to take a paternity break, he said, "I will promote the film, but yes a little break is important or else I will be in trouble later. I think more than me wanting to do is that I really want to spend time with the baby. I start planning in my head and Soha is like baby is going to take some time to grow before you start doing all this. But yes, I will take some time off. We will watch Golmaal together."
He further continued, "It was a baby galore everywhere. Saif had a baby and a lot of my other friends were becoming parents. There was so much pressure." When asked if he and Soha were ready for the baby, he stated, "I am happy and we both are prepared for the baby. I just want a baby and we never felt the need to check it. But kabhi kabhi, we are like pata chal jaye so that we know what to shop. We have used the neutral colours in the room as of now. The preparation of the nursery has already started."
