Sonam Kapoor snubbed at an awards show?

'Neerja' actress Sonam Kapoor, has had a good run at the Box-Office this year. 'Neerja' not only established Sonam's prowess as an actress but also was touted to be the actress' claim to all the awards this year. However, at the recently concluded award function in the city, Sonam lost out her Best Actress trophy to Alia Bhatt, which certainly left the actress disappointed.
Despite the loss what had the actress excited was the fact that she will be presenting the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' to Rekha, whose opinion Sonam is known to value. During the ceremony, Sonam was to perform to Rekha's evergreen hit numbers and present the eternal diva with the trophy. However, when the time came, it was announced that Deepika, and not Sonam will present the trophy.
According to sources, Deepika demanded that she will be the one to give away the trophy, and the organisers, who were concerned about the presence of the actress agreed to the same. Ouch! if this is true, no wonder Sonam felt shortchanged at the last moment!
