Moment of honour! Shoojit Sircar's 'Pink' screened at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Auditorium for the honourable President Pranab Mukherjee
Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee starrer 'Pink' released last year and dealt with the issues of women safety and rights. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, 'Pink' was widely appreciated for its preceding storyline and its contemporary approach.
The film since has been screened across many a platforms, highlighting the issues that women face in the society. The film was also strongly sided by the word of mouth as people spoke highly about the portrayal of women in the film.
