Sridevi's 'Mom' may not have broken box-office records but the film was highly appreciated when it was released sometime earlier this year. And recently, there was a screening of the film in Moscow, Russia on Saturday evening and it comes as no surprise that the film garnered much appreciation there too. Sridevi attended the screening herself along with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi.

Sridevi seemed ecstatic when she heard what the reviews were like after the screening. “I am too overwhelmed to even process the experience, let alone express my thoughts. I must have done something right in my life to win the approval, appreciation and love of the audience after 50 years of acting," she said. At the screening, recent reports suggested that several women were in tears. About this, the actress said, “It showed me the power of cinema when used as a proper tool of expression. There were ladies who couldn’t contain their emotions. The screening went off superbly.”

Sridevi's 'English Vinglish' had appealed to audiences just the way 'Mom' has and when questioned about doing more films after the success of these two, she said, “I just want to do the films that won’t disappoint my fans — I am in no hurry to do another film. Whatever I do next must be as influential as 'English Vinglish' and 'Mom'.”
