Sumeet Vyas to play Kareena Kapoor's love interest in 'Veere Di Wedding'

Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to begin shooting for her first film post-pregnancy, the rom-com, 'Veere Di Wedding'. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, 'Veere Di Wedding' stars Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in the leading roles. Talking about the film, Kareena in an earlier interview had said, "It is going to be quite a chic flick, with everyone trying to make it to my wedding. It's a stylish and fun journey."

And now if reports are to be believed, Kareena will be seen starring alongside 'Permanent Roommates' star, Sumeet Vyas in the film. Kareena, who will meet the actor for the first time is kicked about the film and said, "Rhea's got a solid plan. I'll meet Sumeet soon and everyone's excited about starting the shoot."

While Sumeet has a got a 'meaty and badmash role' in the chick flick, the actor admits that his mileage with his family has gone up since he signed the project. Sumeet said that his sister has been treating him 'extra-nicely' and revealed, "My mileage with my family has shot up too because they are all big fans of Kareena. It's hard to contain all the excitement."

Signing off the 'Parched' actor added, "My character brings a sense of humour to the plot. Shashanka made it clear that it wasn't just a male part thrown into the picture. He wanted a solid actor on board. But I'm not being delusional, I know it's a film about four girls with a mind-blowing script!"
