Sushant Singh Rajput started his acting career with television and is now a known name in the Bollywood industry. Like every other star, Sushant too has his initial days of struggle in the industry. It is with sheer grit and hard work that the actor has now entered the mainstream space where he can comfortably dabble between commercial and niche films.
His last outing at the Box Office was 'M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story' did quite well with the audience. The film also marked Sushant's entry in the 100 crore club. However, at a certain stage in Sushant's career, the actor's decisions were driven by money probably because of the matter of survival.
Talking about the same, Sushant said, "Money was important when I was growing up. I have a big family with four siblings. I also wanted to go to a good university but I couldn’t, and back then, I felt that this was an unfair world. Then, when I came to Mumbai, I was living with six-seven guys in a flat in Versova, but I don’t remember complaining or regretting it. We would wake up at 4.30 am to do martial arts, head home, and step out for Shiamak Davar’s classes for dance practice. In the night, we all would huddle and chat or watch movies. Those were amazing days, so I never look back and think of that time as my struggling phase."
