The first look of Deepika Padukone's character for 'Chhapaak' will leave you speechless

One of the finest directors of recent times, Meghna Gulzar blew our minds with her last directorial 'Gully Boy' and she's all set to do it all over again. Her next movie named 'Chhapaak' is going to star the very beautiful Deepika Padukone and the very talented Vikrant Massey. The makers of the film have already begun with the preps and Deepika just posted the first look of her character, Malti the acid attack survivor/activist.



She captioned it saying, "A character that will stay with me forever...#Malti"

Well, we don't disagree. We're sure this one's going to be one of her finest performances and also something that the mass will remember for a very long time. Not just that, with this film, Deepika turns a producer and we're only waiting for more information on the same. The storyline about this movie is based on the undying human spirit and determination. The actress will be seen portraying a woman who experiences serious trials and troubles along with her journey which leads to her victorious win in the end.

We got a little sneak in the form of photos recently where the team was seen sitting together for a reading session. With the first look, Deepika has also given out the release date to be January 10, 2020.
