The ‘sincere revelations’ from Anushka and Katrina’s Koffee date with Karan

Last night’s episode of Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ had high expectations riding on it. After all, two of the most gorgeous ladies from Bollywood, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif were to grace the couch together. And they surely didn't disappoint!

However, apart from the fun and entertainment, there were also some sincere revelations made last night. Like the one when Katrina revealed why she avoided coming on the show in the previous two seasons. She said that she doesn’t like how Karan asks the guests to rate their contemporaries. She also doesn’t like it when other celebrities rate her. Anushka too had to be convinced a lot and it took KJo almost a month to make her agree to be on the show.

Katrina was definitely not as diplomatic as she once used to be. She went on to say that people in the industry discuss each and every episode more seriously than mere viewers do. Each episode is analysed and people take every word spoken by the guest very seriously.

Anushka and Katrina, both agreed to the fact that the two are very similar. Both of them confessed that they do not respond well to texts, that they need their own space and could also be deemed as psychopaths after the show aired.

And at last, how could Deepika Padukone’s name not crop up when she has a history with both Anushka’ ex Ranveer Singh and Katrina’s ex Ranbir Kapoor. During Arjun Kapoor’s segment, in which the guests had to kiss him in case their answer is ‘Yes’, Karan asked the two actresses if they consider Deepika a good friend. To this, both of them displayed an awkward silence and poor Arjun didn’t a kiss from either.
