Disha Patani to be worshipped as 'Damdami Mai' this Valentines Day by a Delhi college
While the world is celebrting Valentine's Day, the single students of Delhi's Hindu College will be following this bizzare ritual. The single students of the Hindu College will be celebrating Valentine's Day on campus with a puja of the famous 'virgin tree'. Students don't only perform the puja of the tree, but also worship 'Damdami Mai', an actress which is chosen by hostellers each year.

This year, the hostellers have selected, 'MS Dhoni' actress, Disha Patani as the 'Damdami Mai'. Vaibhav Singh, a second-year student and hosteller at Hindu College said, "The second and third-year hostellers have chosen her. We picked her after having a meeting. Along with Disha, one name that was also considered was of Nargis Fakhri, but since most of the guys liked Disha, we have chosen her as our Damdami Mai."

Talking about 'Damdami Mai', Vaibhav further added, "Damdami Mai is usually the actress who has been popular in that particular year, and who is also voted for by the most hostellers. Like always, we will have the puja on the morning of February 14. And a fresher will perform the puja as he will be the pandit for that day. As always, condoms will be used to decorate the Virgin Tree."

The faith behind this bizarre ritual is that all the students who be a part of the puja 'will find the one' in sox months, and lose their virginity within a year!

Interesting isn't it?!
