Varun Dhawan: I was shooting for an ad and not holidaying with my girlfriend

Varun Dhawan has neither admitted nor denied his relationship with alleged girlfriend, Natasha Dalal. While the actor has finally accepted that there’s a special woman in his life, he has said that he would only let the world know about her when the time is right. Naturally, the world assumed he was talking about Natasha and the buzz around their alleged relationship magnified many fold.

Recently, Varun was in Bangkok and upon his return, he learnt that reports said he was there holidaying with Natasha. Clearing the air around the subject, Varun said, “I was in Bangkok shooting for an ad. I was not holidaying with anyone. This is just a section of the media flirting with speculation.”

This time again, the actor chose not to deny the relationship yet clarified, “I am not denying anything, I just don’t want to talk about my personal life. And it is with reason. If I talk about my personal life, the focus will shift away from my work. Right now, I only want to concentrate on my acting and nothing else. Surely I can do that?”

So is marriage on the cards? Well, prod him a little and he continues, “No, no. I won’t hide my marriage, if and when it happens. Like I said I am not hiding anything. I just don’t feel comfortable talking about my relationships.”

“There are many people in my life who are close to me. My brother, my parents, my driver, my man-Friday…I don’t talk about them either,” said Varun before signing off.
