Vidya Balan on Shah Rukh Khan: I would love to do a relationship film with him

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has proved that she's one of the most versatile actresses in the film industry. Despite being a part of many successful films, what's strange is that she has never played the romantic interest to any of the Khans be it Salman, Shah Rukh or Aamir. Although she worked in the film 'Salaam-e-Ishq', which also starred Salman, they weren’t paired opposite each other. And she has admittedly been a Shah Rukh Khan fan for years.
The actress also revealed that she and Shah Rukh haven't been offered a film together yet. “I have never been approached for any Shah Rukh film,” she said. She further explained, “It’s not like I’m averse to doing a film with the Khans. I will happily do a film with any of them. But my role also needs to be proper because I’m extremely particular about that.”
When asked what can get her to work with her favourite Khan, she said, “For us to come together, the characters need to suit us, too. It has to be something like an 'Ijaazat' with Shah Rukh. I would love to do a relationship film with him, which is that sort of a mature love story. I think 'Ijaazat' will be a fantastic film, if made in today’s times as well.
