Cate Blanchett gives us a perfectly inspirational look as Paris Fashion Week comes to an end

Paris Fashion Week is almost coming to an end but our favourite celebs are still going strong by acing some seriously stylish looks. One such diva is age-defying Cate Blanchett. Pulling out all stops, the actress has donned a rather funky look whilst attending a show last evening at PFW.

The 48-year-old actress looked all things glam and more in an armoured inspired jacket which she paired with a pair of high-waist black structured pants. The ‘Blue Jasmine’ star’s jacket resembled a military silhouette and the leather accents kept things looking sharp yet rather funky. Her covered slender outfit helped accentuate her slender physique and Cate rounded up her outfit with pointy-toed black heels. The shoulder pads helped give her look that volume and the contrasting colours of the jacket stood out starkly.

The actress wore her short honey blonde tresses slicked back and the quiffed look gave her that slight androgynous feel. Cate went with a ‘no makeup’ look to keep things subtle and accessorised with studded black dangling earrings to ingeniously add that feminity to her look.

While some might consider Cate’s get-up rather bizarre, we’re loving the actress’ off-beat take on sharp formals. Cate has aptly shown us how we could work a sharp jacket over a pair of trousers to add that edginess to a formal look.
