In black and white: Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt's monochrome formals are SO on-point!

While there are a lot of ways we can style our formal nowadays, there's just something classy about going old-school...or let's just say...going black and white. The two hues have always made for a classic colour combo and black and white formals remain a classic even today. Proving just this, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt have given us two formal looks to dote over whilst attending the India Economic Summit.

Alia worked a straight pair of fitting black formal pants which she paired with a classic white crisp formal shirt. The actress completed her look with a chic black blazer and looked her gorgeous self. She did away with accessorizing her look and wore her straight locks open for the event. The actress rounded up her look with trendy pointy-toed heels.

On the other hand, Deepika chose a more contemporary silhouette and worked the monochrome look. The actress chose to go with high-waist black pants cropped at the ankle and she teamed her trousers with a white shirt with accented flouncy sleeves. Deepika went with trendy strappy block heels to complete her look. She wore her hair in a slicked back ponytail and simply accessorized with a watch stud earrings.
