Sonam Kapoor’s ruffled midi dress is glam and business-appropriate

We can go on and on about how Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is the reigning queen of fashion Bollywood, and how she can do no wrong when it comes to style, but it wouldn’t be enough. The Bollywood diva is seen in styles that are so varied, that we can hardly pin down on something that we can call is her ‘signature style.’
That being said, we’ve rarely seen the lively actress in a look that is described dark and black head-to-toe.
The actress is currently in Dubai for an international event. For the occasion, she was seen in a number that wasn’t her in an eclectic hue. In a Simone Rocha black midi dress that came with exaggerated round collards, double-breasted top and ruffled sleeves, Sonam Kapoor looked like the physical manifestation of the proverbial black swan.
Sonam styled the look with black stockings and pointed ankle-length booties, to amplify the sombre appeal of the look. Her beauty game comprised of a neat bun, flawless base, smokey eyes and voluminous lashes – simple, yet significant. She further accessorised the look with diamond earrings and ring from Chopard.
Sonam’s all-black look was clearly a stunner and something we’ve never witnessed before. We loved how she managed to mix business with glamour for the look.
