Spray on rainbow headbands are the latest Instagram trend!

It looks like that the Rainbow trend is here to stay! From hidden rainbow hair colour to rainbow undercuts to the trends that combine the two, the latest rainbow fad is the spray on rainbow headbands!
Giving a rainbow twist to the stencil hair art, spray on rainbow headbands, is the latest Instagram hair trend that has got everyone talking.
While it looks supercool, the trend was a fortunate accident by the 'Bumble and Bumble' stylist Allen Thomas Wood while he was creating a monochromatic hairstyle with makeup. During the process of stencil hair art, it turned into a design of alternating colours.
The stylist brushed the hair back to give the effect that the person is actually wearing a headband. Talking about it Allen said that initially, he was trying to create a monochrome painted headband, but he kept on layering Kryolan colours so it transformed into a rainbow gradient.
Wood further asserted, "I decided to [incorporate] multiple Kryolan colours and then started layering them until it evolved into this gradient rainbow." However, Wood further added that he does not recommend getting wet with the trend as it isn't waterproof.
