In a shocking turn of events, hours after Rahul Gandhi's official Twitter handle was hacked, the hacker group, Legions hacked the official Twitter account of the Congress party. The hackers tweeted abusive tweets from the official handle, earlier today. While Congress got the situation under control, their official website was also hacked!
In a statement to ANI, Rahul Gandhi said, "It’s a huge question mark on the digital security." The party has condemned the act and termed it as an “unscrupulous, unethical and roguish” and have blamed the internet trolls for the same. Congress part said that ‘fascist culture’ of today was behind the act, the Congress said.
In a statement released by the Congress, they said that they will fight such hatred with 'Gandhian compassion and tolerance'. However, they also accused the BJP of being behind the hacking incidents, and said, "BJP cannot handle criticism. This is a conspiracy against us," the Congress said.
