You can include as many products as you want in your skincare routine to make your skin glow, but sticking to the basics is always going to be the best idea. Of course, eight hours of good sleep is important for your body and skin but you can also help your skin with some overnight skincare routine. And now that everyone's home and don't have to bounce the next morning to any place, this is the right time to put some overnight skincare rules to use in order to achieve a gorgeous glow.

Here are some rules that you must follow that can lead you to a beautiful skin glow the next morning:

- First and foremost, always go to bed only with a clean face. Remove all that makeup and only then hit the bed. Make sure you use a cream-based or oil-based cleanser as it won't damage the natural barrier of your skin. When you use an exfoliating skin cleanser, it can make your skin dry and dull.

- Make sure you are avoiding salty foods in the evening, especially if you're going to have an important thing to do the next day. Consuming salty foods after lunch can cause puffiness under your eyes and lead to a rather tired appearance. You can also use a de-puffing remedy to get rid of the swelling but keeping your hands off of savouries will also help.

- If you still aren't sure about face oils, consider this as a safe option. Essential oils have the ability to protect the outer layer of your skin and generously provide rich antioxidants to fight against DNA damage. You can layer your skin with some essential oil of your choice and then go ahead with your daily night crease for maximum effects.

- The kitchen essential that really works like magic is apple cider vinegar. It doesn't just exfoliate your skin but also balances out the skin and helps calm the breakouts down and heals them quickly. You can apply a little amount with a cotton pad all over your face just the way you'd use your toner.

- If you wish to achieve a good glow, you must always include vitamin C in your diet. This amazing ingredient can banish all dark spots and improves your skin tone and give you a flawless glow. vitamin C will work like magic for your dark circles too. You can apply some vitamin C rich cream under your eyes in outward motion before you go to bed.
