We're all stuck indoors due to the lockdown imposed on use owing to the dreadful coronavirus pandemic. So, saying that stress levels are a little on the rise right now is pretty much an understatement. People are full-on panicking about the situation and let's be honest, we can't blame them for it either. It's okay to feel stressed about the situation, but what's not okay is to just pretend that it'll go away on its own. And if you thought that stress can only impact you mentally, think again, it can have daunting effects on you physically as well. Here's all the damage stress can do to your skin, hair and your nails.

Hair: You might have noticed by now that your hair fall has rapidly increased and you might even be losing hair in bunches. Stop blaming those hormonal changes and start thinking about how stress is affecting your hair. Unless you want to go bald, start taking care of your hair properly. Give your hair an oil massage once a week and opt for hair masks. Also, make sure to consume the right diet like eggs and fish since these can help boost hair growth.

Skin: If you've noticed that breakouts have become quite frequent on your skin, you can blame all that stress for it. You're probably eating junk foods, not sleeping enough or on time and not opting for the proper skincare routine. And all of this can end up damaging your skin. So, here's what you should do. Opt for the right skincare products for your skin type, consume foods like fresh fruits and veggies since these contain a plethora of vitamins that can be good for your skin, and ensure that you're getting enough sleep. And remember to stay hydrated while you're at it.

Nails: Didn't think stress would have an effect on your nails did you? Well, turns out it does. You'll notice how your nails have become more brittle and prone to chipping and damage when you're stressed. Some people also have a habit of biting their nails which of course doesn't help either. So, leave your nails alone for a bit and don't apply any nail paint on it. Rub some cuticle oil on your nail beds and it'll help strengthen your nails. Eat foods that are rich in biotin, zinc, magnesium, iron.

Make sure to keep your stress levels down if you want to have glowing skin, gorgeous hair and beautiful nails. Stay tuned for more updates.
