Braids are a classic hairstyle trend that just never goes out of style. There are numerous ways to style your hair with a braid in ways that are classy and elegant. It offers up a neat look that is feminine and stylish. Here are a few braid hairstyles that you can try this Diwali.

* Classic braid
If you are looking for something really simple, opt for the classic braid. All you have to do is divide your hair into three sections. Next, cross the left section over the middle one and then the right section over it. Keep doing this process until you reach the end of your hair. For a more festive feel, add a few small flowers or hair accessories to your braid.

* French braid
A French braid is very popular and can give your look for the day a bit of an edge. To do this braid, take three small sections at the top of your head and work your way down to the nape. Once you have almost completed your French braid, you can finish it off with a messy fishtail braid at the end.

* Crown braid
A crown braid may seem complicated, but it's actually easy to master. Best of all, this chic and stylish hairstyle can add a whole lot of sophistication to your look. This style works well no matter what your hair type. This is especially an ideal choice if you want to show off a gorgeous necklace. This look is achievable if you have long or medium hair.

* Fishtail braid
Once you have mastered this braid, you'll probably want to wear it more often. It's easy to do and adds just the right touch to your look. To make a fish braid, split your hair into two sections first. Next, Take a tiny subsection of hair from the outside of the ponytail and cross it over top. Then join it together with the section in your left hand. Repeat this process until you reach the bottom of your strands. Use a small thin hair tie to make sure the ends are secure.
