There are days when you are super pumped to workout and there are are other days when you just don't feel like it. Shifting your mindset is key to stay motivated to achieve your fitness goals.

Getting it out of the way early instead of having all day to talk yourself out of exercising can be an effective strategy you could try. "Motivational speaker Brian Tracey says that if the worst thing you must do in a day is to eat a frog, do it first and get it over and done with,' fitness expert Scott Baptie told a news portal. Adding, "If exercise is your 'frog', get it done and dusted as soon as you can."

You should also enjoy the activity you have chosen to do. Pick a physical activity that feels good for you. "There are loads of activities that get you moving and burn calories. You just need to find one that you don’t dread doing," Baptie told a news portal.

Experiment with a variety of workouts to discover what you enjoy doing. "Understanding how you respond to different types of exercise, and crucially the correct type for you, can provide you with a tremendous amount of reassurance that it will have the desired effect and actually work," Ex-England rugby player James Brown, told a news portal. Adding, "Small, achievable goals will be far easier to maintain each day, than a larger goal that can seem out of reach and unattainable, which will help to keep you motivated."

If you are struggling to stay motivated, join a class. This way you will have an instructor to motivate you and guide you through the workout. You could even plan days to workout with a friend. "Create an incentive scheme. Let’s say your goal is to go to the gym three times per week. If you do that for an entire month treat yourself to a reward like some new trainers, a snazzy shirt or a tasty meal out," Baptie told a news portal.
