Most people depend on their regular salon visits and pedicure sessions to take care of their cracked heels. It is a very common thing and happens to make people whose feet are exposed to dry weather and dust. If you don't take good care of it, it can lead to severe pain and many other complications. You can still take care of your cracked heels even when you can't step out due to the lockdown.

Some DIYs is all you need to comfort your cracked heels at home:

- Oil your feet: Make sure you oil your feet every single night. This one is quite a simple process where you can make use of olive oil, castor oil or almond oil as well. Make sure you rub the cracks with these oils every night. You can apply some petroleum jelly on the cracks too. Cover your feet with a pair of socks and leave them on overnight. The next morning, you will see the difference. You can keep doing this every night until you start feeling the difference in your cracks.

- Honey and banana pack: This natural moisturizer works quite well for your feet. You need to mash a banana and keep it in a bowl and add a tsp of honey to it. Mix the two to make a good paste out of it. Then, apply it on your heels. Let it stay for 20-30 minutes before you wash it all off with lukewarm water. Both of these ingredients are great for your feet skin.

- Dip your feet in milk and rose: This remedy works great on your cracked heels and gives you softer heels instead. Add some warm water to a small tub and add almost half a cup of milk to it. You can also add some rose petals and some neem leaves to it. If you have some essential oils at home, you can choose to use them as well. Now, dip those feet and let them soak in all the goodness for about 20 minutes. Keep gently scrubbing your legs during this time.

- Use a pumice stone: You can use a pumice stone to gently rub the dead skin off. If you do it on a daily basis and over a period of time, it can start working wonders. Make sure you have one at home and for better results, you can take a tbsp of salt and mix a few drops of olive oil to it and use it as a natural scrub. In case you don't have the stone, you can use a loofah too. Once you're done with the scrubbing, you can apply cream on your cracks.
