The season of holidays is upon us and everybody's favourite holiday Christmas is finally here. The one thing that we all love to look at on Christmas, is a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. So let us take you on a tour around the world, and show you some of the most beautiful and spectacular Christmas trees that have been set up across the globe.

Rockefeller Center, NYC

Rockefeller Center in NYC always does something spectacular with their Christmas trees. This year, the tree will be wrapped in five miles of 50,000 multicolored lights (energy-efficient LEDs powered by solar panels) and its topper is a 9.5-foot diamond star that twinkles with 25,000 crystals. The gorgeous spruce will remain lit daily from 5:30am to 11:30pm, and until 9pm when it comes down on January 7.

London, Britain

This is the Christmas tree at Trafalgar Square in central London, Britain. The Christmas tree is an annual gift from the city of Oslo to the people of Britain as a token of thanks for British support during their years of occupation in World War II, on the 70th anniversary of the tree gift, with a 70-year old Norwegian spruce.

Galeries Lafayette, Paris

To celebrate the end of year season, Galeries Lafayette is unveiling a Christmas tree like no other. A gigantic, spectacular tree surrounded by an abundance of balloons and giant candy made from mylar foil, all scattered around under the Dome. Enough to delight young and old alike!

Sydney, Australia

They too have a beautiful Christmas tree set up for the festive season. With loads and loads of decorations, the tree also has a glow in the dark sash that surrounds it and illuminates through the surroundings. Truly a beauty, don't you'll agree?

Sapporo, Japan

A large Christmas tree at the Sapporo Factory shopping mall in the city's Chuo Ward is illuminated in this recent photo. The roughly 15-meter high tree is decked out with some 40,000 LED light bulbs, helping those who lay eyes on it get into the Christmas mood. For the official lighting event held on November 3, a crowd of approximately 5,000 people counted down for the switch to be flipped on by children, and shoppers let out sounds of awe as all the lights came alive at once.

Well, weren’t these trees just marvelous? Stay tuned for more updates.
