Here's why you should start consuming almond flour

Almond flour is made by grounding almonds without their skin. Much like the conventional wheat flour, almond flour is a tender, fluffy powder that has a sweet taste and is perfect for baking goods. Plus, it is completely grain free and has a low carbohydrate ingredient which makes it perfect for people trying to lose weight. It also has a number of benefits; it is rich in protein, vitamins, manganese, monounsaturated fats, and fiber.



It keeps heart diseases at bay as it is rich in polyunsaturated fats which are a great source of omega 3 fatty acids. Rich in vitamin E (antioxidant - great in getting rid of toxins from the body) almond flour can lower the risk of many infections including cancer and improves heart health. It also helps in gaining muscle mass as it is high in protein. And it helps keep blood sugar levels in control as well.



If you want to make it at home, here's how you can do it. To begin with, peel the almonds. Then put them in a blender and grind them until they form the texture of a soft, buttery flour.
