The festival of colours, Holi is just a day. Are you ready yet? We assume you must have by now made your plans ready for the day. From young adults to kids, the excitement of the riot of colours can be easily seen in all age group. But not everything about Holi is pleasant. By this, we mean the harmful after-effects of the colours. By now, us Indians must have mastered so many hacks to minimize the damage caused by chemical-induced colours widely sold in the market. A popular way of preparing for the day of colours is to apply oil all over the body to protect the skin. Inspired from the hack, we suggest you try the humble coconut oil. Not only it will protect your eyes, but also will ease out your trouble of getting rid of colour stains. Especially for eyes, it provides a cooling sensation and soothes areas around the eyes.

Another way includes placing two slices of bread in the freezer beforehand. Once you are done playing with colours, pick these cold slices from the freezer and put them on your eyes to stop any irritation caused by the Holi colours.
